Forest experiences in Københoved forest

Ample bird life in mixed forest, that alternates between cultivated fields and grazing beds. A good example of a so-called peasant forest. Here breed both buzzard, sparrowhawk, goshawk, kestrel, tawny owls and long-eared owl as well as woodcock and core bites. In the undergrowth grow holly, honeysuckle, raspberries, blackberries, aspen and ivy, and some places you can see orchids bakkegøgelilje and skovhullæbe.
